Sir Smith Child

This is the second of my venture into local history, with this MP. Sir Smith Child lived between 1808 and 1896, so he managed to get away with the report on MPs expenditures (that has shamed and horrified modern British MPs!) for probably squandering his allowances on fine wine and a 32 bed roomed mansion for his little imaginary friend Egbert!

But alas he didn't manage to get away from .......me !
