WIP Brian Cowen

These are the working pictures of Brian Cowen, the Taoiseach of Ireland, so far, though I dought if he will remain so for much longer. Another casualty of the world resession and the deap feelings of ordenary folk of the world, who are paying for the Banks and Government failings.
I thought that I would post these pictures of how the work is going so far.
It has been a while since I did a full digital painting from start to finish, Its been intresting and fun, and I had to rein myself in as it would of lost the person who it was ment to be.

Felicity Jones part 2!

This is the second attempt at this lady, this time I used sketch that I did when working on drawing her. I then used Photoshop CS5 (trial)as the program to See the difference between CS4 and CS5. Some of the tweaks are good in CS5, but Im not sure if they are worth upgrading too. No dought if I did decide to upgrade to CS5, by the the time I get it they (Adobe) with bring out another version CS6, with in weeks! I wish that they would leave new stuff alone for a few years at least !

This is a picture of a guy who was at a Christening that I attended at the weekend, My wife took the picture and from that I did a sketch, then did the painting, I dont know what his name is , but Im sure someone will tell me.

This is my revenge on Jit, for his take on me.
This seamed to just flow and morph with ease, it makes a nice change for something to turn out as how you see it in your head, and then see it evolve and become what you see!
This one took me a while to do as I had to fit it in around other things, but it was really enjoyable to do.I thought that I would see what it looked like in black and white, I think it works well, if not slightly better, what do you think ?
I think I will do the black and white paintings first on the next picture for a change.
