Trip to China - update

I thought that Id post this update so you can see how it is progressing along. I decided to paint the heads first before adding the Chinese clothes, getting the hard part done first !.
I have just found out that over on E-caricatures forum, my Captain Picard painting came joint second in the May's monthly competition ..... EEEEEK!

School trip to China - WIP

This is a WIP for my daughter and her mates who have just come back from a school trip to Shanghai, ( in my day it was just to the Welsh coast!) It is to get the faces right and to set possitions of the heads, The end resault will hopefully have Chinese head dresses and refrences to their visit. Hopefully they will have it as a reminder of their fantastic adventure to the Far East.

FA cup final

after a valiant effort my local team failed to win the cup, why lets see, stoke city t0p player around 5.5 million, mann city 20 million each player ! Even tho they lost they did the city proud, and are our heroes. Well done Soke City...ya were robbed !

While surfing the net I came across some Mug shots of the 1920's. They looked intresting subjects so I decided to have a go at sketching them, besides if they are still with us today, I might be able to out run them if they didn't like the drawings.If there are any relatives of whom I have drawn who are looking in, I hope that you enjoy the pictures.Here they are....

NCIS's Abby Sciuto

I did this as my daughter Emily, she pleaded with me, she even gave me the 'eyes'. You know the ones, the ones that make you go into a trance and agree to anything!!.
This week I had a really nice surprise as I had an e-mail off an old school buddy that I hadn't seen nor heard from for over 38 years ( I was at junior school and leaving for secondary school aged 11!). I has been great to hear from him and it has led to getting in contact with another school friend from the same time. So there are going to be some embarrassing stories flying around. I might even share some of them on here, there again..........
